We want to be responsible
Nornickel Harjavalta’s EHS practices comply with all the environmental, health and safety regulations and directives of Finland and the EU authorities.
The goals we have set for ourselves are even more stringent than the authorities’ permit conditions. This applies equally to waste recycling, environmental regulations, carbon footprint reduction as well as ergonomics, health issues and employee welfare.
We follow the OECD guidelines for a responsible mineral supply chain in conflict and high-risk areas. Our supply chain policy defines the procedures to be used.
In addition, we expect our suppliers and their subcontractors to conduct their business responsibly in accordance with our Supplier Code of Conduct.
You can find our raw material supply chain due diligence report here.
